St. Cloud Soup

Note: Date change! We have changed this summer’s Soup to Monday, July 16.

St. Cloud Soup organizes community dinners that generate microgrants for for projects that will improve the greater St. Cloud Community.

Soup dinners are open to anyone who would like to be part of a grass-roots event that donates directly to our community. At the door, we will ask for a suggested $5 donation per person that will go one of our presenters. Before eating, we will hear from two to four presenters with projects and ideas that will improve the greater St. Cloud community. Each person will get a vote, and the proposal with the most votes at the end of the night will take home all of the money donated at the door.

This summer’s Soup is still a pot-luck so feel free to bring soup, salad, or bread to share. However, if you do not have time to make soup on a weeknight, we will have hot dogs and brats available to purchase. All the proceeds from brats and hot dogs will go directly to the winning proposal.

Another exciting aspect of this Soup is that along with the money from the donations at the door, the winner will also win their own “Tending for a Cause” night at Beaver Island Brewing Company later in the year. This is an opportunity for the winning proposal to double (or more than double) their donations.
